Just had a Ohio deer hunt cancelled for next week due to outfitter emergency
Anybody know of any openings?
We are two , all packed and ready to drive.
Openings at last minute?

You need to look into the public hunting grounds . They are hardly hunted during the archery season . Tri Valley gamelands has a lot of property . Get way off the beaten path and near private ground that's not easy for everyone to get to . You won't be disappointed

My buddy drove up from FL and kinda winged it on Ohio public ground. Worked out, they took a 159" 8 point.....yes an 8 point that scored 159".

Good follow up on this post, thanks for those of you that replied.
Saturday morning I located a guy that had a leased property that remained open for the opening week.
He made me an offer at 10:30am, I was on the road to Ohio from NJ 8hour drive by 11:30am.
Checked into a motel, met the guy Sunday AM, he gave me a map of the property and some advice, and left.
I took in my climbing stand, set it up on some awesome sign and left.
Monday at 8AM I killed an 8 pt that is estimated in the mid 150's
