I just shelled out extra cash for a 10/22 because my daughter wanted pink & ruger now sells pink laminate stocked 10/22's. This never would have crossed my mind, fantastic!!!

Looks great. I can see I am a bumbler when it comes to refinishing stocks.
Only 3 weeks ago my 10 yr old daughter and I sprayed her .223 a bright purple Krylon with white stripes. Not a good job, but she was happy!
Good job keeping yours shooting.

I took the easy route and ordered a purple/grape/white McM Remington 700 MR for my Daughter when she wanted a purple stock on her 1st deer rifle.

nothing wrong with purple, especially for your daughter. I'm not scared of putting color to guns...I've put together a few.

Amazing contrast from the grain in the wood with the purple dye. I must say it has a pleasing look for a purple rifle. Only question is does it shoot well with the modifications you made.
If you can catch or kill it I can cook it.

Only question is does it shoot well with the modifications you made. It has never been shot at long range, but at +/- 50 feet, it shoots just as well now as it ever did with a barrel band.
