Politicians will say anything to get a vote, often contradicting themselves within the same day. Lies and damn lies. I will vote for the party who did what they said and rescinded the long gun registry.

YUP. They'll tell their current audience whatever they think that audience wants to hear. The message of "values" and "beliefs" changes, depending on where they're speaking that day.

The Conserv's are the first government that we've had in a long time that has actually been following through with their promises (GST reduction, LGR abolition, etc).

I'm still waiting for them to drop the hammer on habitual criminals....180 prior convictions and still being released?? Enough already....

If worse than old "fuddle duddle" is even remotely possible.

Justin Trudeau feels his coronation is a slam dunk. Show up, wag your hair and say whatever the audience wants to hear.
Trudeau said he didn't support the long gun registry in its previous form. This doesn't rule out many antigun positions such as central storage facilities, nonfirearm areas/cities or moving more firearms to restricted or prohibited status.
Unfortunately a Liberal's word means nothing five minutes later.

According to my son-in-law in Ottawa 'little Justin' said at a luncheon speech some months ago in Montreal that an outright ban of some selected firearms would be more practical and less expensive than trying to register them.
I'm still trying to find the time and place of this to verify.

The "ban" we NEED in Canada, is one that would eliminate the vile, destructive policies of his WWII-draftdodging father, with "Official Multiculturalism" and "Bilingualism" the first to go and then we cut immigration levels to a maximum of 50.000 per annum, with absolute precedence given to persons from the northwestern European nations that founded Canada.

Then, while we are at it, we BAN any Trudeau from ever again being active in Canadian politics. They are like some hideous disease, a form of "social syphilis" and should be kept away from any political power.

That, ought to do the job!

For better, or worse, the pedigree, or genetics are hard to get away from.
His mother has to figure in somewhere as well.
