A friend at work sent this to me yesterday. It's two pictures from the same game camera. The frame on the left shows his hunting partner walking to his stand. The frame on the right was taken seven minutes later.

I don't want to know how many times that happened to me.

The best part of hunting and fishing was the thinking about going and the talking about it after you got back. - Robert Ruark

I have something similar from a few days ago. I have a food plot near the end of my farm that I usually plant in turnips or something and feed corn to get some pictures of what's in the area. I cross the food plot to get to one of my hunting areas on the other side. I considered hunting this end of the farm this particular morning, but elected to go to another area. I "saved" this area for the afternoon hunt. I'd say I made the wrong decision......
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Same situation here. I didn't hunt my farm on this afternoon. I elected to drive 15 miles and hunt a piece of property I lease. Another bad decision....

I'd be willing to bet this happens to just about everyone. Luckily, the deer have NO proof that they did it to me.
I'm a firm believer that they are doing this just to poke fun at us.
I'd rather have a bad day hunting than a good day working!

I love my trail cams...but sometimes ya just don't want to know. I have several BEAUTIES on camera but none of them have been through the camera during the daylight. Not saying they weren't in the area but it shows you what lurks in the night and sometimes gives a false sense of hope.
Camp is where you make it.

I like the ones where a deer licks the camera, or when a raccoon falls off my deer feeder as he's trying to open it

I've got this old sequence of a doe discovering the camera:

almost as good... I crawled into a makeshift blind the other day, knowing the wind was wrong, but not expecting to see anything closer than about 250 yards so no biggy..... Mind you its open grass fields with only 12 inch or so tall weeds out to the west about 250 yards.
Walk up, sit down. Put round in chamber. Look up. Literally that fast. 8 point and doe 30 yards downwind of me in the oats...
I have NO clue how that happened... camera woulndt even have had time to reset if I had my camera there....
BTW they stayed downwind of me for another 1.5 hours... and I was not "clean"
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

I would walk past my camera so it got my picture, then go sit against a tree right by it and see if that helps at landing a good buck.
Take a child hunting, fishing or trapping. They are the next generation of outdoors people.
