I'm looking for a long range rifle. I've checked out a number of them but these two interest me the most. Any thoughts, opinions?? Other rifles ??

seriously they are both high quality, pretty much comes down to your personal preference, I like the looks of the G30 action a little better ,but if your going to use a picatinny rail I would prefer Surgeons machined in rail and lug!

I've got a .338LM built on a 1581 Surgeon. IMO, if weight isn't a factor it's hard to beat the size and design of it for that cartridge.
