I only hope he had his story straight, unlike last year when California state assemblyman Tim Donnely(R) tried to get on a plane with a loaded 45 and first said that he had for got that it was in his bag a carry on and that he didn't know it was loaded... and he suppolidly a past minuteman comander or some such...

Then he changes story and say's that he was or had been getting death threats... could be but then that must mean the he knew he had it all along and that it was loaded!

And or too stupid to realize that being a congressman he most likely could have got a permit at any time and gone by things legally!

But in stead he'd rather play games.

There's plenty enough fools to go around on both sides!

I had a cousin once (dead now) who was shot in the chest with a .25 and HE ended up serving jail time for how badly he beat the shooter.

Shooting someone with a .25 you could be cited for assault with intent to annoy.

In his defense he never did say that he wanted to give up his guns, he just wants everyone else to give up theirs. Can't blame him for wanting to be safe.

You can't get elected to the Illinois second district without being black, anti gun and having a criminal background.
