USRAC is said to be dead for the moment. Obviously, we don't know whether Model 70s will continue to be made in the future by some other company, or whether some company will buy USRAC and rescue the company. But if those things don't happen, will the owners of Model 70s find it hard to get parts? Or can we count on someone offering parts? There are an awful lot of Model 70 owners out there.

Not really. I think you'll find parts for M70's around with no shortages, especially if they begin making them overseas..

What with the popularity of the Model 70 and the number of the rifles out there, there should be strong market in after market replacement parts for years to come, just because Winchester may or may not go under doesn't mean that replacement parts will become unavailable after all if there is a thing called Supply and Demand and as long as there is sufficient demand, supply will be there .
