Brownells list the action alone without recoil lug or barrel for $539.Why the difference?

Id imagine because they are a retail store and its. My pricing could be off but Im going off what I generally see complete rifles sell for.

This 700 action alone on Gunbroker went for $462. Plus I would think a SS action and 26" barrel would be more desirable.

For future reference warpig602 and whomever...Gunbroker PAST HISTORY of what actually sold at a certain price for a certain time of the year is typically a fair reference point.

I use that to price, then deduct the price since I don't have to pay a fee here and like to pass that savings on to fellow members...pay it forward so to speak.

I'd think you'd get $450-$475 pretty easy if its BDL and not SPS stainless. People are kinda wacko about .223's. Especially if it includes BDL bottom metal, mag box, spring and follower.

$400-$450. Depending on where and when.
