As of today there is and will continue to be a shortage. In fact there will be none available for a long period of time, especially pistol primers There is already a shortage of pistol ammo in most parts of the country

I could not find small pistol primers on the shelf two weeks go.

I looked on Sat and found a couple thousand but they were Fed match or Rem 1 1/2's.

Sold all my reloading equipment and supplies 2 weeks ago at the gun shop and can prove it.

Sold steelies at a great profit yesterday.
I actually did sell my stuff though, my hands just would not take the repeated motions required anymore. I did buy a BUNCH of factory ammo with the proceeds however!

Just looked at a dealer sight... lots out of stock, but plenty in stock depending on your flavor desire.....
And so what really, are they talking primer bans now? THere have always been panic shortages, This too will pass. Damn shame if you aren't set up ready though.
I may have to order a case of small pistol since the wife just bought one. I don't think I have more than a few thousand leftover.
FWIW anyone that doesn't buy primers by at least 1000 or really case of 5000 at a time with recent history, just ain't makin sense.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
