Went to ship a rifle this afternoon at the post office, and a woman approached me and said "that's an interesting shaped box."
"What? "
"That's an interesting shaped box. I wonder what you have in there."
"Ma'am, this is just an old box I already had that happened to be convenient."
Didn't give her the time of day past that. She looked at me, said "hmm", and walked off.
Just a heads up on the public scrutiny, so make sure you have your ducks in a row.

The general public would $hit bricks if they really knew how many gun transactions, purchases, and shipping went on every day. The day after the election, 750 AR rifles were sold by one distributor in the first two hours of business that day.

I think that I would have told her is was a gun, smiled and went about my way. On the other hand depending on my mood at the time, I might have told her to go fly a kite.

I shipped an FNAR magazine yesterday and packaged it inthe PO and the clerk was pretty snooty about a stinkin magazine!
