November 17, 2012 was a good day for both my Savage rifles. I got my 1st 99, an EG,this year and looked forward to hunting it at our deer camp in the U.P. of Michigan. On the 17th I got this buck(not the largest, but my first with my 99!!) Later in the day my nephew used my Savage Model 110,(he had scope issues with his rifle) to fill his tag.I love my EG and it just felt right in those woods.
