I had a gentleman today show me his 10/22 that he has had for quite a while. This gun had a SS Fluted Kimber 22LR heavy barrel

My questions are anyone have experiance with a Kimber 10/22 barrels?
I have a 10/22T with the heavy Ruger Hammer forged barrel wonder how they would compare?

I have never heard of aftermarket barrels for the 10/22 from Kimber.

Your 10/22T probably has a very good barrel, but it may be slightly handicapped with a chamber generous enough for any type of ammo. Often the accuracy is improved by cutting off the breach of the barrel and rechambering with a match chamber. This will usually improve accuracy, but it may also make it a bit more selective in what it will chamber reliably. Your choice. You may just want to try a number of different loads in the barrel as is. It may be good enough.

Kimber made some 10/22 barrels several years ago. I can't help you with the accuracy potential though. I've had several Kimber bolt action rifles that didn't really super impress me with their accuracy.
