Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in Northeastern Wisconsin? Green Bay Area specifically. Thanks for your time!

Redneck is in Wisconsin, but I'm not sure what part. Send him a PM and find out.

I have had "Redneck" do a variety of work for me in the past. I have only ONE complaint, that's he's not more local so I can go hang out with him to say thank you in person. He's great, does great work and does what he says he'll do.

Though I've been hunting with my son so carrying my rifle has happened very few times this year. One day, I will be around and take you up on that offer.

Sounds good to me. I'm north of Green Bay about an hour. It's funny you have a southerner recommending you! As I am from the south as well. Alabama actually. So I have to believe Mr.Dawn2dusk as long as he's not one of those Bulldog fans? =) We Auburn fans will have to let him slide I suppose! At least he's not an LSU fan! Sending PM. Thanks for the info all!

Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in Northeastern Wisconsin? Green Bay Area specifically. Thanks for your time! Redneck and Jkob, for sure. But, location isn't critical, IMHO. Find the smith that does what you need done and use UPS. It's not that expensive. Locale doesn't dictate my choice of a smith. I pick the one that I think will do the best job, then ship the project. Just saying. DF

He is an excellent LR shooter at the national level and really knows how to put together an accurate rifle. His focus is precision competition rifles but the last time I was in his shop, there were a lot of hunting rifles being built and serviced.

Does it have a max speed of 35mph? Is it taking you through Fargo to get to GB? I live in Manitowoc (30 minutes SE of GB) and can get to Superior in just over 4 hours.

Just pointing out that there IS a place more than 5 hours from GB..
