He inherited an incredible economic mess and does just fine perpetuating the crisis without my help. But after years of living in Asia, I realized I'm a white man in a world of colour and sometimes I wonder how different the current American political landscape would have appeared if General Powell had made a run at the White House. It seems to me Powell walked in the halls of the building and was groomed for the position since the 1970s. I hear Barry is back on another Maui vacation. Hope he don't inhale to deeply.

Got home a little bit ago from a Christmas visit with the daughter/son-in-law/twin grandsons. Matt had to work (he's a cop) 7P-7A so the rest of us went to church last night then had Christmas dinner today after he got some sleep. We opened gifts after that. The twins are only 8 months old so waiting wasn't a problem. Next year will be different!
