Does anyone currently make new rifles in this caliber ? I've looked at the Savage website and didn't see anything. Sorry if this is an old question, I figured that the experts here would know. Thanks, Scott.

You should be able to find a Savage American Classic M14 in 300 Sav. on Gunbroker or the like without too much problem. The free floated barrel, Accu-trigger and button rifled barrel makes it one of the most accurate rifles I own. Here it is pictured in the fore ground next to a 250 SAV:

I think Savage is still making it in the American Classic, or at least they are still available. They discontinued it in the weather warrior and I picked one up for what I thought was a very reasonable price (about $475).

You can always have your local gundealer call up Savage and order your choice of their rifles chambered in 300 Savage - might cost a bit more, but they'll do it for ya. I think they discontinued the model 14 in 300 Savage a couple of years ago. 250 Savage is still being catalogued though. Can probably find a 50 year Anniversary model still NIB on any auction site, probably run ya $1200 though.
