It's a German Claw Suhler mount. It came like that with a Kahles Fixed 6 attached. Kinda cool. Let me see if I can find some other pics.

Ok. I can't take it! I gotta have that. What will it take? A kidney!? My 1st born? The map to the secret buried treasure !???!!! Awesome rifle. Email me when you decide to sell ! Here is my No. 1 that I bought in Germany. Once I get pics of my AH I'll post it up. All I have for now is a pic of the box/sticker...

7X64, Thanks I really enjoy the rifle. It's taken a couple of black bear and some other critters. I really like the RSI's.

Dr Death, thanks and if I decide I'll let you know. Then again, I'd let my AH go before I let this one go. It became quite sentimental this Christmas when I used it on a hunt with my older brother. We both shot a doe that evening. We hadn't seen one another in over 30 years.

A little off topic on the #1 wood theme-
I know nothing about the 7x64 round. What's it good for? Is it a heavy recoiling round ? Is ammo cheap? Etc etc..

The 7X64 Brenneke is like a 280 but a little hotter. I have a 7X64 M98 Custom & a 7X65R the rimmed version in a Simson Drilling. Chuck Hawkes has a great write up on it.

I know nothing about the 7x57 round. What's it good for? Is it a heavy recoiling round ? Is ammo cheap? Etc etc.. Oh good God. Shouldn't you be out worrying about who's mailing payments to you instead of asking stupid questions? DrDeath -- Genius
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.

I love my RSI '06. It points and carries like a bird gun and shoots sub moa. I had a Trop safety put on it and the trigger cleaned up and set at 3.5 lbs. I can't think of a more perfect rifle. I have some pics but she's plain jane as far as the wood goes. That and I haven't taken the time to figure out posting on here with my iMac. I hear it's paramount to know how to do this or it never happened.....
