I have an 1870's, antique single action, Smith and Wesson 32 caliber, 5 shot revolver. It is a top break design, nickle plated, with a 3" barrel. Bore is in great shape, lock up is tight, no flaking of the nickle plating, and the grips are in fantastic shape.

Can't read the printing on the top. This is a 38SW caliber?

It's a 32 caliber.

On the first line, the writing on top says:

Second line:

On the top strap:

PAT'D APR 20 75 & DEC 18 1877
