Who has seen the Remington email saying they will be introducing a new rifle? Anyone have dirt on the new gun? Speculations?

My bet is a Remington rollmarked Marlin XL7, priced and marketed to compete against the Savage Axis/Mossberg turds.

I thought someone here said it was another chinsy POS to rival the Ruger American and Savage Axis..?

I haven't seen a rifle Remington has made in a long time that I'd want to fork down my money for....I'm sure this one will be a little gem as well.

Since Remington owns Marlin, hopefully I am right, and they kill the 710/770 abortion for the Marlin bolt gun. As bad as I hate to see them go the way of the barrel nut, it would be worlds better than that piece of crap.

Whatever Remington brings out, it will be great.

I can see a triangle barreled 770 with a nut and accutrigger.
Heaven help us.

Whatever Remington brings out, it will be great. Not sure I would place the 770, 30 AR, and Etronix in the great category.

XHR VTR Any/All three sided barrels 710 770 Etronix 887 Shotgun 673 Guide Gun 788/799 BUT they gave us the .260 Rem. and SAUM's. And for that, we are eternally grateful

I was on board, Archie, until the 788 was mentioned. I love those things.
