I ordered 2 - and they limited me to two mags. But prices were normal, so guess that's not too bad.
One upper jumped $100 overnight, which was annoying, but not really surprising.

My thought are that the wholesale prices got hiked, and Midway has chosen not to play.
If so, good on them.

If so, good on them. Agreed. That and limiting mag orders so folks couldn't buy 'em all for resale at the higher prices.

They kicked my 20 rounders out of my cart, to "out of stock no backorder" status.

If you look through the Midway website, some stuff allows backorder, some doesn't. I'm guessing they don't want to pile up a ton of orders they know they might have trouble filling.

My guess is they had an allotted number on order. They held everyone to two only until that allotted number was filled. They will get more.

Americans have short memories. Most of them must have figured Obama was going to be a one term president.

Supply and demand make the economy go 'round...but wait! That's only applicable to a free market system. My guess is that Midway, like some others, are passively boycotting Obama's Socialistic (bordering on dictatorial) siege on the Constitutional rights of Americans.

Glad your order was filled, bea175. But there should be some concern that it's the complete rifles and factory ammo that are out of stock nationwide. This fact should urge us to contemplate more on what the mindset of the American people is in response to a government that couldn't care less about the will of the people.
It's good to be talking about what it means that some suppliers are no longer offering back orders, but we should also be talking about why Americans have/are letting the government dictate laws contrary to the right guaranteed by the Constitution. It's less concerning to me that Midway and Brownells and Sinclair are running short of stock, than it is that so many Americans are only now realizing that they should have exercised their right to bear arms LOOOONG before now. Maybe it's human nature to do so, but it may be too late if we wait until a crisis to acknowledge the value of our Constitutional rights

hopefully some of this will blow over. I hope all the procrastinators will have learned their lesson and when the panic subsides everyone has a chance to own a black rifle magazines and ammunition. Grasshoppers rarely learn, winter comes and ants live on. That's simple grade school knowledge. I stocked up on everything during the lull between President Billery and the American destroyer B Husien Obama, Berry or what ever he's calling himself. The ones really hurt are the competitors that would really have a hard time stocking up a few years of components. The last so called Ass-insult Ban during the Billary ban, magazine manufactures were cranking out mags so fast before the deadline the were not packing them or anything else, just pushing them aside until after the deadline. My best freinds will never go without Buy American, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
