Here are two places that sell repro grips...
gungrip.com/
vintagegungrips.net/

You will probably have to make the front sight. We can get you the height above the barrel.

For an easy temporary fix you might try using a copper penny cut and filed to size.

Missing front sights are a common problem. They are just held on by a post, and can work loose and fall out. Too, it may be that some were deliberately removed to help prevent these "pocket pistols" from snagging when being extracted from a pocket.

Finding factory front sights is difficult, and often entails robbing it from another slide. A good replacement can easily be made from a steel woodruff key, a selection of which can be found at any good hardware store or big box home improvement center, as well as online. Be sure to select a size that will allow you to duplicate the correct height, length and width for your pistol (the sight dimensions changed over the years), including the sight's tapered sides.

The original grips are black hard rubber (except for the pressed steel grips used with the first few versions), which has normally dried out and become brittle over the last century, making mounting and dismounting them a risky venture requiring you to flex them a bit. Original grips in good shape also tend to be expensive, when they can be found. The various replacement grips, made of plastic, urethane, etc, work well and run about $30 a set. Opinions differ as to which company makes the best replacement version.

The replacement grips are available in a variety of colors. AFAIK, however, Savage only made them in black, although the rubber in some turned brownish or reddish brown as they aged.
