atfter an armed robbery with 2 guys who had 3 guns, one a 357 that discharged twice but no one was hurt thankly.
Fortunately I can still discuss concealed carry from a theoretical standpoint; you didn't say whether you were there or not at the time of the robbery, but if I had been, my perspective on carrying would be forever changed.
Personally, I would view working in a pharmacy as a reasonably high-risk environment and I would certainly carry two guns.
In addition to a pocket gun (.32/.380) that I could deploy inconspicuously, Id carry a service pistol (9mm minimum) on the waist.
What you choose matters little so long as it reliably goes bang with every pull of the trigger and you have the skill to put that to use.
Although carrying two big guns with high capacity magazines might be my initial gut reaction, in the real world I think it would quickly become more trouble than what it's worth (unless armed robberies are a regular occurance), but I'd certainly carry at least a 9mm that I was intimately familiar with.
