Anyone here have room in thier rig for a 6'3" 240lb passenger with an aluminum rifle case and a duffle bag? I could use a ride from the airport to the lodge and then back again on Sunday.
If there is still a group going into Nashville early and wanting to have some good clean country music fun together there a day early, I could be interested.
I messaged the lodge about bringing a videographer and the prospects for killing a piggie with a spear.

well its pretty well finalized that its a no go for me  .gov thinks we have more money than we do and the check they are gonna want doesnt look pretty but no way to know for sure till after the deadline for deposit.....hopefully ill get to some other time...

I am not as fine a company as Rattler, but if someone wants to kill a hog with a diminutive 22 I have a really wonderful little Brno ZKW 465 which is a true miniature Mauser (Them hogs be potentially DANGEROUS! Better have a controlled round feed rifle!  ) in 22 K Hornet that I could bring. Leaning moreand more towards the super cute 250/3000 that I boughtfrom Fireball2 just weeks ago for my modern rifle. If I wasnt doing Black Powder this year I'd pop a Boar in a heartbeat with my Hornet, it pushes the 45 gr TSX's to 2900+ fps, I have put one lengthways through a coyote at around 90 yards.
Thinkin they would have little trouble with reaching the vitals on a piggy.
And the 250-3000 will get it done in spades.

I will load up some of my 80gr TTSX's and hope they will stabilize in my rifle. We shall soon see!
If they wont we will try the 100gr Core Lokt and Silvertips, and failing those working out I know it will shoot my still large supply of 87Gr Horny's.
