Cool, it will be good to meet you guys.

I think a stout revolver(or your 10mm) would make an adequate "stopper" if needed. PAMac showed a video of one boar they shot, that looked like he was ready to come for them, but I don't think he actually charged. I didn't hear of any that actually were aggressive.

I'm going to bring a Colt Walker replica as a backup to the BP rifles. And maybe a large knife, to back up the charcoal burners blush

Wilderness is donating two 100+ hogs for smoking, so that should get us some of the finest eating in the world for at least two nights.

And the leftovers, if there are any, are incredible.

What Pat does with the smoked hogs is worth the trip all by itself.

We owe him a whole helluva lot.

I had better start saving up some more moola, or sell off some more toys, I want to shoot one with the 10mm, too. Thanks for reminding me of that! A great medium to test my 180gr Gold Dots at 1375fps.

Pig one of the nights. What do you have in mind for the other evenings. Some folks are PMing me kindly asking what they could bring to chip in for the meals.

Don't know which way you and Steve will be rolling in from but if you want to meet up in Crossville for the annual grocery run, just let me know. Me,Dan and Scott will join up with you and make that store wish they had security guards.

Burgers and stuff the first night is cool. We'll bbq a pig one day and do something else with pork the next, maybe smothered. It'll be different enough be edible.

OK Pat. depending upon yours and steve's schedule,we'll just stay in touch and if I have to make the run,you just give me your "need" list and I'll grab it for you.

That dish above could definitely like some Velveeta!

And I could damn near double haul a 4 weight across it although Pat and I caught a few small fish. I think they have a bigger pond on the property some place so I'll toss a rod in.
