If you see another one at that price grab it without hesitation knowing you have a buyer in the wings.
I don't find 'em for that around here due to their popularity and I'm looking for a gift for one of the "kids" (he's 21 now) that I hunt with.

Actually a retired Trooper buddy of mine bought the rifle, and I paid him 50 for the scope. When he gets tired of it, I'll give you a yell.

Sure hope you can make it work and be at the hunt.
You may want to do some preliminary checking to see who is driving down from your area and get a ride and share expenses.
I think it would be cheaper than flying, plus you would have a lot of time to discuss rifles, ammo, politics, world peace, etc.

.38 or .45? Sorry, that was an inside joke. I have a friend (believe it or not) who jokingly refers to Weatherby's as "Webley's". I picked up the Vanguard Weatherby he had for 330.00

going to load up some 10mm tonight. the 10 works good on hogs with 200gr.bullet.or the 180. working on a 6.5 grendel. ken

That would probably be an understatement I should have some fairly eclectic things folks can try, if they like. About all I can guarantee is it won't be a 700 of any sort - unless someone wants to shoot an 8mm mag

How many damn hogs do you guys want me to kill on my meager "hereford herder" cop paycheck ? I missed out on shooting it last year 'cause the pouring rain started and someone left all the windows down on my truck! If I do the rifle thing it will be an AR of some variant. I'm thinking the 6.8 like bea, but bigger isn't always better but it's often more fun! George

Of course you can bring anything you want. Whatever it is, it's going to kill whatever you aim at.
And please don't be offended by Allen's comments. He's been into the sauce during the entire Raven's game that went to two overtimes. Frankly, I'm surprised he even found his computer.
Can't imagine what the bathroom in his house looks like now. Probably much like there was a severe back up, which to some extent there was, but the backup would have been in Allen's bladder and kidneys. Big time!
