Starting to get another itch and thought I would ask for some comments here, pro and con from actual owners if any.
What's your opinion of the Savage with the Accustock? (Caliber will be 260 Rem)

Great stocks.
To sell and buy a McMillan!

The same result would be obtained with the old pre-Accustock IM stocks or a McMillan EDGE. It's still an IM stock. With extra weight added for good measure. They do tend to shoot pretty well just as they come from the factory.
Hey, I like Savages, I've had many. They don't stay stock for very long though. My latest build is on a Savage. Rock #2 8 twist 5R threaded nutless. EDGE stock. Stockade shifter 700ADL TG Tuned three screw trigger Will be chambered for the 6-284 and throated for the 105 class bullets. 6# 7.5 oz prior to threading, chambering, and cut and crown at 24"

I have a savage precision carbine in 223. It has an accutstock and it's the most accurate rifle I have every owned. Shoots everything lights out.

I see no reason to sell a Savage stock to put an expensive McMillan on it. I have just started shooting a LH Predator Max 1 in 260 Remington and it is showing that it will be an extremely accurate gun. This gun has the Accustock on it and feels really good to shoot, I'm not going to drop $500 + to replace it that's for sure.

I have a Hunter 11/111 in .243 with accustock and trigger. It shoots .5" MOA with Hornady Superperformance 58gr V-Max. That is all I've ever run through it. Didn't see the need for any improvement.
Don't roll those bloodshot eyes at me.
