Guys-
I am fixing to order a 2x12x42 VX-6 with the illuminated duplex reticle. I have seen pictures of that same scope with an illuminated dot. Leupold's website does NOT show or list a lighted dot in the duplex reticle. Their illuminated reticle shows a lighted "plus sign" part #111979.
What model number is the lighted dot/duplex? Or is the Leupold site incorrect?

The firedot is the reticle you are looking for- it is available in the VX-r but not sure what else. You can always call Leupold directly. 1-800-Leupold (no kidding) or write them here: http://www.leupold.com/contact/ask-a-leupold-expert/You sure you wouldn't prefer the VX6 in that #4 with the firedot ?

I called them its a dot, i am deciding between the VX-6 and the duralyt myself.
