Thanks CT, but we have a volunteer. rattler has agreed to send our guy the $250, and get credit for a deposit.
It took less than 5 minutes for rattler to help out. Good on him. And also on CrimsonTide.
It also reflects very well on the kind of people we have here at the Fire, who will also be at the 2013 Hog Hunt.

Ken,
The max we can handle both in terms of bunks(all lower) and a decent but not crowded hunt in the field, is 40.
And 40 hungry guys can do a lot of damage to one of Pat's hogs that he has in the smoker for about 12 hours.
Thus the limit at 40.

Please see my first post on this thread concerning Wilderness getting additional land to hunt. Total is about 2600 acres now.
That should handle 40 hunters fairly well.
And guys moving in the hunt area frequently pushed hogs to other hunters.
Just pick a pretty one, and shoot.
I hope you realize that I'm joking. Not likely we'll ever see a pretty hog. But they are a lot of fun to hunt and to eat. They don't look pretty, but they sure as hell taste pretty.

Would love to go, wanted to go last year, but couldnt get the time off work., been out of work since last May, do to health troubles, and just cant afford it this time, hope to go next year, and meet this bunch of misfits! hope all have a great hunt & fun time, please take alot of pics, for us that cant make it!
