Anyone have recommendations on factory ammo they use in TC Encore and get tight groups. I use Hornady 325gr and my groups are 1.5 to 2". I would like to tighten them to 1" or better. I can shoot my buddies H&R and get 2 holes touching so pretty sure it isn't me.

The .45-70 and the .30-30 are probably the two most out of the box accurate Handis. Each of mine shoot MOA to 200 yards and beyond. I have had very good performance with the Hornady LE ammo. Not to sound biased, but I don't believe T/Cs match Handi's accuracy. Three of my other Handis will shoot within 3 inches at 300 yards if I do my part. I believe Handis give you more bang for the buck than T/Cs. For the price of a T/C barrel I can own a complete Handi with upgraded stocks. At the moment I have 14 complete center fire Handis.
