I recently picked up an older custom Winchester Enfield rechambered to 300 H&H. When I took it apart it still had the 3.4" mag box in it. Any recommendations on H&H mag boxes and followers?

It also has a 4x Hensoldt Dialytan in Stith windage/elevation mounts. The front ring on the action is drilled so that a Mod 70 Winchester mount will fit. Is there any one piece Mod 70 mount that will work on it?

This one has been converted to cock on opening, sporter stock, jeweled bolt, Dayton Traister trigger, and looks like it has been rust blued. I would post a picture but it says my files are too large.

Sometime back, we discussed Jack O'Connor's rifles and I asked where his .416 Model 1917 was and if anyone had pictures. I don't know that we ever got an answer. O'Connor's .416 by Al Biesen was a piece of work, but the hardest of his guns to locate.

It WAS here in Canada, I seem to recall, about 12-15 years ago and so were a few of his other rifles. Some of John Jobson's guns were also here, a guy offered to sell me one, but, was not into parting with the H&H 7mm that Jobson had and he had in his possession.

I think that the guy with J'OC's rifle(s), was/is the brother of that photographer who had all the nice rifle pix in G&A circa the '80s and early-mid '90s?
