I am wondering if someone could tell me some titles of books that cover the timber industry in Alaska. I have read quite a bit about the mining and fishing industries but would like to read a little more about the timber industry also.

I emailed Title Wave books here in Anchorage about your question. Here is the reply:
We have several books on the subject of the timber industry in Alaska in stock. The two that come first to mind are: Alaska's Forest resources by Alaska Geographic (Volume 12, number 2 / 1985) and Tongass: Pulp Politics and the fight for The Alaska Rain Forest. We have multiple copies in stock of each title in our Alaskana section and I'd be happy to hold either title in stock. Please let us know...
