I am looking for information on 500 A Square loads with the following bullet weights:

450gr
535gr
570gr.

Load data would be very very much appreciated.

Also of interest is how hard one of these 500 A Squares kicks, relative to a 12 gauge for example.

Thanks,
AC

Is it just me, or have I seen these questions somewhere before? They seem vaguely familiar.

Didn't you own a 500 A-Square back in your AR days?

AKJD,

At AR it was made very apparent that I had no 500 A Square, or at least I thought that the boys over there had stated that.

Anyway, as I originally said, I would very much appreciate any load data anyone is willing to share for bullet weights of 450 gr, 535 gr, and 570 gr in the 500 A Square. Comments on recoil levels are also very much welcome.

With A Square back up and rolling out rifles I am seriously thinking about procuring one of these bad boys.

Same ol AC, you ask a question, someone that doesn't know better will post some info and then it starts. You google up something or run some numbers through your coumputer that differ and you tell them how wrong they are then on and on it goes. How many times under how many differnt names have we seen this. You could come back in a month under a different name and within a couple days it would be revealed who you are because its the same crap over and over.

I just can't figure out if your problem is that your mother didn't give you enough attention as a kid, or too much.

Behind the 570 gr. bullet about 110gr. of bullseye should be about right for you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

leftycarbon,

Finally some useful information! Thank you very much for the load data. What kinda groups have you been getting with this load in you rifle? Also, which 570gr bullets have you been shooting.

leftycarbon,

I cannot get 110 grains of Bullseye into a case! How did you do it?

Yes I can load up ammo, as I have 460 WM cases, and a set of dies. Just ordered a rifle in 500 A^2 and believe me the waiting is agonizing.

fish,
I am glad you can snicker at my post. Do you have any load data for the 500 A Square you would like to share? I would seriously like to have it if you have some.

Yes I did. The data was all for heavier bullets, which I don't want to try at this point due to recoil (I am new to big bores). Besides that some of the data was presented in forum threads and there were responses stated that the data was unsafe pressurewise.

AC;

For any more of your reloading questions, please just direct your web browser to: http://www.reloadersnest.com

PLENTY of load data right there without having to ask for it.

Oh, and yes, there is .500 A-Square data available. Here it is, in fact: .500 A-square

Now, go there, or anywhere else, and have fun.

VAnimrod,

Thank you for the excellent link!! However, it doesn't have anything for the bullets weights I am interested in. Those weights are again, 450gr, 535gr and 600gr.

Any help with load data for these bullets weights is greatly appreciated.

Buy one. Buy a manual. Buy powder, dies, bullets, and primers. Load your own. Figure it out. Take PLENTY of time (off-line) while doing so.

The likelihood of any more help than that, Azz_Clown, is remote 'round here.

That is basically the plan. I have a 500 A Square coming as we speak.

Why do you say that? Is it because no one here as a 500 A Square?
