Ya know I new that question was coming when I posted this for him. I will have to call the owner for the answer but I remember when he built it he was planing on using Horn 75grn A-max bullets so it must be on the fast side. I'll get back when I've got ahold of him.

I thought that is what I said I would do in the previous post. 1-10" twist had him double check it.

Yup, I don't think he spared much building it. He's retired now and doesn't shoot much. He is looking for something he doesn't have to handload for- wants a Ruger #1 heavy barrel

No, in the previous post you said you'd check the twist. You said nothing of WHO BUILT THE GUN.

I think he misunderstood. When you said "ask who built the gun", he was thinking "I'll ask my friend who had the gun built about the twist". He was not thinking to ask which gunsmith built it.

Fair enough. Thanx Ebby. As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens another.

I guess I wasn't clear on your question.

Barrel was purchased pre-chambered and threaded by Pac-nor. Action was fitted and final headspace done by a friend of his who is a local smith in Omaha area. He put the rest together himself.

If you, Reloader28 are really interested in the rifle or interested in having a smith to do some work for you , I will get the info and PM you the the name and phone number of the smith who mated the barrel and action.

I've had numerous requests for photos of this rifle which I'm trying to get. Those interested in this rifle can PM me and I'll forward some photos when I get them from the owner.

Geez, anyone want to make me an offer on my dies and brass.

Fellas, the barrel was measured and I wanted to make sure to pass on the correct barrel contour from Pac-Nor is a Varminter/Med Palma Contour. Muzzle o/d is .800" @26' length.
