good luck Tom, my dad recently went through surgery for prostate cancer and came through it without to many issues......woulda been none except due to a screw up with a medication issue as he was on blood thinners

I'm really going to miss seeing you at the Hog Hunt this year, but realize you have more critical and important things to take care of.
And I think that all of us are going to look forward to seeing you in 2014.

I'll miss seeing you all at the hog hunt this year as it's quite a collection of personalities and characters! At least I was able to have a good hunt with Leslie and others from the campfire in Wyoming this past Fall. I'm getting all of my guns cleaned up and put away in the gun safe as I'm heading down to IU med center, Indianapolis in the morning for prostate cancer surgery. They're also going to check out a nodule on my left lung found during a pre-surgery xray - 50% chance of that being cancerous. Good luck and have fun on the hog hunt. I was looking forward to slaying one of those hogs with a 41 mag! Les is coming home to watch me for a couple weeks. Tom ================ just saw this and it's the first I've heard of this little battle of yours. You'll be in my thoughts, Tom. My money is on you for a quick ass kicking of the intruder. I wont be able to make the hunt but is it possible to drop in just to meet some folks.maybe y'all will see us Tennessee boys aren't all bad.  I looked at the website and I appear to be roughly 120 miles away.i might be able to drag field hand out too.maybe I can con him into driving

have no clue on the Lodge's rules on someone showing up if they arent staying the night and paying the observer rate, im sure Steve knows or can find out.....if its possible i wouldnt mind yah stopping by.....ive taken some hits defending some of you lot, showing up to prove it would be great in my book...

im a member of a Tennessee based hunters forum and have met dozens of members there.most were great guys and I forged life long friendships with some.hunted with several over the years.i always jump at the chance to meet new people that share the same interests and likes as me.it might be a good opportunity to show some that some of us aren't bad guys.
