I have an article I cut out of the Los Angeles Times in Nov., 1991. The title is "Campus Marxists See Silver Lining."

In it, a number of card carrying communist professors interviewed from universities and colleges all over the United States. They speak of the "fall" of communism in the Soviet Union, and claim it is just a bump in the road. Next time, they'll "do it right", here in the United States, once they have complete control.

They speak of the 10,000+ professors who are full blown communists, who recruit students and other professors "to the cause." Since 1991, they have gained unbelievable numbers of like minded professors, teachers, and students.

I'll see if I can post the article in its entire form. Very enlightening.

I grew up on a college campus. Attended 3 colleges for 9 years.

That reeks of utter horseshit to me. No offense intended. I suspect puffed-up sensationalistic faux-journalism.

i'm not so sure i buy into the 10,000 number, but i think we have plenty of evidence that the colleges and universities are breeding plenty of communists, marxists, and socialists. when are own president refers to "collective action" it's not hard to see that the doctrine of the radicals is firmly entrenched in our gov't and elites of the country.

Your post reeks to me of utter horseshit. I attended 2 major universities for 7 years, Purdue and Wake Forest. There are plenty of Communists teaching in American universities. I had a business law professor at Purdue who was a liberal federal judge appointed by Carter who spent most of the semester attempting to indoctrinate our class into Marxist Democratic Party views. American universities are cesspools that have been infiltrated by Marxists.

Roger Kimball's book, "The Long March" extensively documents how this happened under our noses in our own country. The Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci coined the term "the long march through institutions" in his book "The Prison Diaries" and we are witness to its happening.
