In the video you can clearly see the officer ejecting a large (shotshell) via a side charging handle. AR15 charging handle is on top of the receiver. The AR15 was not in the trunk...at least on that video. Someone saw a shotgun in an AK type configuration in the trunk and said it was an "assault rifle". It was not. There are in my mind a few serious questions about this shooting, but the AR being left in the trunk unused in the shooting is not really one of them. Guns are responsible for killing as much as Rosie O'Donnel's fork is responsible for her being FAT.
