I texted Mike to see if he had posted but I haven't heard back from him as yet. Mike and his son hunted with us at Caryonah, as well. This will be Mike's 3rd or 4th get-together with us.

He very much enjoys the company. How could he not? He's sitting on the bench a couple of days this week but I don't know if it's in Fairfax. we'll likely have lunch during the week. I'll tell him to jump on and say hello and catch up before he drives on down...with my guns and gear, bless his heart.

I had a wife like that, I had to hide my hunting plans until the last moment or I was living with an angry woman for weeks before the trip came about and incessant queastions about how much it was going to cost etc. etc.

My wife now of five years knows EXACTLY how much this trip costs, and even with me unable to work she is totally great with me going, knows how much hunting and the campfire mean to me. Plus, this is one of few types of 'hunts' I can still do and she gets that.
