I will go for that

That'll work, I got three '94's in 30-30 WCF and one in 38-55 WCF that I like a lot.

Hope everyone has a great time. I was strongly considering taking one of those last spots but I've decided to put my extra funds toward Lasik surgery this spring. Maybe next year!

I feel for ya amigo. It was health challenges that kept me away from last years campfire hunts and the wifes Cancer that kept us from the New Mexico Shindig with Dr. Ken and others that we were looking forward to immensley.

Best wishes on your LAsix and do report back, freind.

sometime this year I need to let Karnis work on my M99, to fix a buttstock problem. It would be a pretty sweet lever gun thereafter.

My brother has one of the 1886 Extra-light repros. I reckon I could use it. Maybe in 2014 or 2015 smile I still gotta get about three others ready for this year! smile

It would seem to be a pleasant dilemma, what to take.

Not shown are the Hawken and the Walker, which are getting worked on. The AR-10 and the Rugers need some minor handload development, but are about ready. The High Wall and the 1920 need a bit of checking out & tuning, but should be ready.

Apparently I need to keep Steve away from the Rugers, lest he swap stocks. Of course, I could bring the salt wood .375, which would discourage him from absconding with a stock grin

Appreciate the kind words guys, been wanting to do this for years. I've worn glasses since 5th grade. My eye doctor informed me that a friend of hers was running a special. If you are willing to donate $100 to her church mission fund, she will do the surgery for half price. That's about a $2K savings, so I can't pass it up.

Yes, I'm planning on it, unless something wierd happens. All the supplies should be here this week. Long term I will need different sights on it, and maybe a longer barrel, but it should be okay for short range hunting.

Lots of stuff I'd like to bring, but I think we're taking Pat Powell's truck, and I don't want to bring so much that it's inconvenient for him.
