Just ordered a Xbolt Hunter Micro, left handed, for my daughter. What is the best scope mounting option. So far, it looks like the one piece Browning/Talley, OR, Talley base and fixed rings.

What works best ???

The one piece Browning/Talley lightweights work best. I also have the 2 piece steel traditional talley's on a Medallion model but the I prefer the lightweights.

I too would go with the Browning/Talley lightweights. They work well on my 300 Win Mag.

Talley here too. Much cleaner mounting than the DNZ's, imo though

I switched from Talley to DNZ - they work great and no more scope marks

Talley Lightweights all the way. You can turn them forward or backward to adjust ring spacing for scope adjustment. With DNZ ring spacing is fixed and to me they are kind if bulky looking.

I just bought me some S & K mounts for my a-bolt. Lighter than most except the Tally's but the best looking and by all accounts very strong.
