Dunno - the Google warning only said no malware had been detected, so why the notice at all? I have gotten similar notices in the past that seemed just to be "crying wolf".
I have heard of Netseer before, and don't think it was very good, though.
Might want to Google Netseer and see what kind of info you dig up. There is a lot of hidden crap that runs in the background all the time that you never really see.

Running Linux OS and Firefox browser, I get a pop-up from the OS asking me to admit or reject adsafeprotected.com. Closing the pop-up or rejecting the website gets rid of the pop-up but it pops back up immediately up to 4 more times. This happens with most clicks of the mouse as long as I stay on 24hrcf. This aggravation only shows up on 24hrcf.

Anybody know what it is?

my firefox doesn't show anything.

When running IE, it says the page has been modified to eliminate cross-site scripting, which I assume that stuff is.

On my home computer running IE, Norton has blocked 2 instances of supposed malware the last couple of times I have logged in here. My work computer just gave me the Google message on Chrome.

I run Ghostery (ad spying blocker) on my Firefox browser, and it doesn't show Netseer.
Adsafeprotected may be the equivalent adware blocker for Linux systems.
Maybe one of the computer gurus on the forum will chime in.

Got it this morning also.. I ran Spybot and Zonealarm just to check and neither found a thing.. After I clicked on 'proceed at your own risk', I've not had that warning..

Never got it before - no idea why it's coming up now..

The Campfire is virtually my only on-line activity. Just about every time when I run MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials at least once a week, some times more often it has quarantined several viruses, malware, or Trojan horses. They may not come from the Campfire, but the odds are that they do.

MSE intercepts 'em and keeps 'em out of mischief until I can dump 'em. They seem to be the same ones, again and again, which would indicate that they come from the same source again and again. This also points a finger of suspicion at 24hourcampfire.com most likely the same ads, time after time.

No matter what other software you're using, get MSE (free, with free, frequent up-dates) from Microsoft and run full scans often.

I never get any of that crap. Firefox with ghostery and super ad block.

My Ubuntu Systems show no problems at all. The Penquin wins again.

I would suspect the browser before the website.

There have been issues associated with dynamic ads but AFAIK the fire itself hasn't been hacked.

That's my best understanding of it and if the experts know different ... please tell.

Just heard on the radio that this has been happening to conservative websites. Can't say if it's related though.

I'm pretty sure that IE isn't the culprit, because MSE doesn't always find or report invaders, even after hours of constant use of IE.

Nothing here, and I don't use Chrome.
