ok, so CrimsonTide started a thread on one of the Netflix originals, so I'm wondering if ya'll could suggest any other shows, movies, etc on Netflix to watch.
I find myself NEVER watching regular television anymore, and just watching movies and such on Netflix, but I get on kicks where I have to watch a series. I'm bout all dried up with the series that look interesting, or the ones that they suggest to me, and I'm trying to find something else to watch.
I've watched: 24, Friday Night Lights, and a few others.
What have you watched?

not sure if its on Netflix but "Justified" is another good one, i think its about 3 seasons in so some previous seasons may be on it....

Try the Murdoch Mysteries if you like that kind of thing. Hell on Wheels is good, Mrs. Tide watched a season of American Horror Stories or some such lately.

That's the one I watched! Forgot the name. Really wish it didn't end the way it did...could have used another season or 2.

What's your genre of choice.? Honestly, I don't have a specific genre. I need to be able to get into the show... I watch shows like L&O, L&O SVU, Criminal Minds, Jericho, Walking Dead, 24, etc... So I guess you could say my genre of choice is action, cop thriller, gritty, etc.

it was on netflix instant, no longer but you can get the DVD of "Unthinkable"
pretty good movie

i'd order up all three SWEDISH girl with the the dragon tattoo trilogy movies, and watch 'em as a mini-series.
bbc's sherlock holmes (modern day. each show is a 90-minute movie. excellent.

I hear that "Breaking Bad" is pretty good. It's on my list to check out and is on Netflix Instant. Even if it is good, it may take me months to watch a season or two. I mentioned this in another thread, but my family could likely get by just fine with no TV other than Netflix and maybe one TV hooked up for local channels. We cancelled our Dishnetwork service the other day.
Now with even more aplomb

I heard Breaking Bad was good, but started watching it and quit after about three episodes. Moves way too slow, IMO.

I recently watched 'The World's Fastest Indian', the story of Burt Munro (Anthony Hopkins) who sets off from New Zealand to clock his bike at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Great movie.

I watched the first four seasons of Breaking Bad on Netflix but they still don't have season five available.
I broke down yesterday and purchased season five from Amazon Unlimited Video.
Unless Netflix can bring new seasons in more quickly I'm afraid they're going to lose market share to Amazon.
Mad Men is another good series on Netflix but have been waiting a long time for season five to show up and it is taking forever. Once again, Amazon has season five available now.
