Let's hope some company that knows real quality and customer services buys them. It's a GD shame what that company has been allowed to digress into over the last 10 years of so IMO.
They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

The parent company wants to sell its firearm companies because of the possible laws which could be passed.

They certainly haven't done right by Marlin owners since that purchase.Apparently they know jack squat about lever guns.

The govt. did Cerberus a huge favor by helping them unload Chrysler.
Heck, I thought Marlin, Dakota, Remington, and NEF were just selling a bunch of those "low-capacity hunting and target rifles" that Libs love so much?? I mean, every Lib I hear "respects the 2nd Amendment and fully supports guns for hunting and recreational shooting".

They should have moved the bolt and semi-auto production (which they did), but left the lever production where it was. The only way you'll see a decent Marlin in the near future is if they contract production out to Miroku.
