Brings back alot of memories from my youth, and some things I can't quite remember. Nothing compares to LZ

Damn! Considering Plant has likely heard that song covered about a million times, that is just about the highest compliment that he could give Heart.

Good for them!

The place was overflowing with liberals.

That fact notwithstanding, the tribute was awesome!

Few things get me going like a good hard Led Zeppelin song, at high volume!

Great tribute.

A Zeppelin related story:

About 5 years ago, my brindle pitbull Zeppelin, died. she was the best dog a guy could have. I took her to my property and buried her. I was at a loss of what to do next, so took a long ride to work. My cellphone was in the door of my truck and hadn't been touched in over two hours. As I was driving down the highway, thinking about her, I heard a tune playing very faintly. I knew it but it was very quiet. I checked the radio and it was off. I checked my phone and it was playing a song. The song was Led Zeppelin-Battle of Evermore.

The tears fell. They do know as I type it.

Thanks Zep for the memories (The dog and the band)

Me Too. Saw them June 1977 in Madison Square Garden.
AMAZING Show - started an hour or so late. Rowdies in audience throwing HUGE firecrackers at Jimmy and Robert...

The closest I came to seeing Led Zeppelin was when Robert Plant was doing his Now and Zen tour. It was at the Houston Summit in 87 or 88. He played a couple of Zepp tunes, but mostly stuff from his solo efforts. It was an incredible concert, but am sure it paled compared to a full on Led Zeppelin concert of days gone by.

If you guy's want to get lost for a few hours, check out Led Zeppelins website for a timeline of every show they've ever done with dates, cities, setlists, reviews from the shows,etc.. It's really cool. Here's the link...
