I have a 1422 with the monte carlo stock. I like the cheek position but prefer the lines of a classic stock. The fore end of the monte carlo Anschutz stock is a little flimsy for my taste. This said, I am about to get another one back that I sold many years ago. I will probably keep that one and trade the other 1422 for a classic stocked 54 sporter gun. Never hurts to have all of your bases covered smile
