To convert to .308, would any action work have to be done, or just screw on a .308 barrel?

I'm baffled. Why is this not sold yet???? If you guys are hung up on the WSM, I'd have to say you need to try it!! One of my favorites and this is coming from a looooong time 30-06 user. I like my 300 wsm's so much I got rid of my 300 win mags...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

This should be gone. In any event, if anyone is still on the fence, I have a factory SS takeoff in 7mm WSM that I got from Dober and will not use (23"). I'll sell it cheap to the buyer of the rifle or to the OP only. $50 shipped and yes, I'm taking a loss.
Maybe this will help move it.

This blows my mind as well. Murphy's law will step in and two months from now when my gun fund is back up deals like this will be nowhere to be seen. Perfect stock fill, color choice and pad. Amazing action and chambered in a darn useful round.

Ihave a friend in Idaho that does cerakote professionally. BBl action would be $250. Any color you want , does great work.
