Looking to buy a 204 take-off Rem (Varmint preferred) barrel and a set of dies (RCBS OR Redding preferred) to make 221 FireBall/20 VarTarg out of 223 Rem.
I'm going to have a 20 VarTarg rifle built. Right now I plan to use a Marlin action.
PM me if you have any of the above for sale.
Will

Stainless fluted, nice. I'm a retired GI and I know that is a great price, but might be a little much for me.
I haven't found an action yet, just put out feeler for barrel that might be available.
If you sell it fine, I'll try and get the money together.

I used regular 221 die to form from 223.need to cut off 223 brass and anneal before forming. You can do that without messing up the brass? How do you hold the brass to cut it off? Probably use a Hack saw to cut it off, right? Will

buddy of mine was building 300 blackout brass, bought a miniature cut off saw from harbor freight,$30 worked like a charm, after cutting and annealing I would back regular 221 die off with stem removed and resize 1/2 turn down at a time till resized. only ruined 4 out of 75.LIMPY

Thanks limpy, I found the cut-off saw you talked, thank you. I rigged up a bolt to act as a stop so I could put a case in to the same length each time and it cuts to the right length every time.

This is what a guy in PA said he had, I sent the money. $170 and got a non-fluted SS barrel. I can't understand why some folks have to be less than honest. I hope it's not shot-out.
