good deal

Since we are all in the mood to show off some of our artillery for the hunt, here are a couple of my toys that should be making the trip....

I am so glad that I bought a couple of good guns while I had the resources to do so, If I only were as good of a shot and hunter as these guns deserve!

Walley World got in a bunch of Clay Target and i picked up a couple of cases and will bring a case on the hunt and will bring one of my O&U's to bust a few clays with.My Winchester Select Energy Sporting Clay gun and a few boxes of 12 GA Fed Target Loads.

Youz gonna make my ole A-5 feel bad about herself with them fancy bird guns Bea.

Bring it on CT, my ole A-5 is well used and carried many a mile, but she's still a sweetheart.

One of the things I thought there was a shortage of last year were seats for the porch. I'll toss a couple folding chairs in and others may want to do the same.

I figure on brining a couple of my mobile command chairs as well.

I reckon I could make it feel better; I've got one from the 1930's, which is pretty well used Supposedly it's a Mod choke but with modern shells it's more like Double Secret Extra Full. Good turkey gun, though

I can bring some chairs as well, so long as I REMEMBER to put them in the truck!

For shotguns, that is where my collection gets ugly. Only 1 shotgun in the saafe by design. A beat to death black on black Benelli Super BLack Eagle, from the old H&K days that has been 'resurfaced' shall we say, a number of times with various finishes and compounds.... With its multi shades of black layering and adjustable choke sticking out the nose, plus a mercury filled anti recoil tube screwed onto the end of the mag tube it redifines utilitarian for me. It has lots of duck blood and other game birds blood uon its finishes, but I am no great shakes as a shotgunner any more than I am a rifleman or handgunner. More like a gun nut who hunts a little.

NICE shotguns there! I sometimes consider trying to obtain one good classy shotgun, but then I remeber how I treat them and the temptation goes away <G>
