I have a friend and her grandfather passed away years ago and left her with a 1901 or 1902 Winchester 30-30. She told me that it's not a carbine but the longer barrel and it has a side mount scope. Also she said the stock is perfect but there are a few small spots of rust on barrel. The receiver has most of the bluing worn off. She is asking $450.00 but told me to make a offer because she will sell to me or the nearest gun dealer. I plan on looking at it this weekend but have no idear what it's worth. Being taped with a scope Im sure will kill the value but is it still worth low $400.00's. Im not sure what the model is but Im sure that makes a difference to.
