I've looked at various sites for comparison, but the prices are often $200 to $300 hundred dollars difference.
I saw a blued Redhawk, 44 magnum with a 7.5 inch barrel for $700. From the single picture it looked in very good shape.
Good,high,crazy?
Thanks much, Brett

Thanks, that's what I was thinking from perusing the various gfs sites. But the price spread was so high I wasn't sure.

I agree with the guys above. The three STAINLESS Redhawks I have purchased were all $500-550. Unless it were some rare cartridge in "unfired, NIB" condition, I would pass at that price.

The last few I've seen around here were a hair over $600.00. I would like to find one for $500.00 in good shape.

Back in September I bought a stainless Redhawk in .44 Mag w/ a 7.5" barrel for $480 so; your quoted price of $700 definitely seems high.

First off I'm curious how long it's actually been since some of you actually bought a Redhawk. Secondly it's obvious that the longer the barrel the lower the price, because they are just flat a pain to haul around with you at 7-1/2" long. One the other hand the shorter the barrel the higher the price. I'll take all the 4" or 4.2" Redhawks you can find in good condition for $500. And if they are new they will be over $700 moving toward the $800 price range due to price increases over the last year.

I think I mentioned I bought mine last September...
The OP's question was about the asking price on a 7.5" gun. I answered about a 7.5" gun. The only difference is mine is stainless whereas the OP is looking at a blued model.
That's about as close to an "apples-to-apples" comparison as one can get.
4" - 4.2" guns may or may not cost more but, they aren't really germane to the question.

Just bought a ruger redhawk 41 mag ss 7.5 w/ 4x leupold scope $775.00 shipped last fall. I think i did very well. Shipped over night.
