I just "won" a Gunbroker auction for 4000 Large Rifle primers (Winchester) for $201. That is 40% higher than I've ever paid for a box of 1000 primers before. But I need 'em, so I paid the price.
It looks like Small Pistol primers are going for $60 to $80 per thousand right now. Fortunately, I'm well-stocked.
What kind of prices are y'all seeing?

At the local place CCI large rifle and large rifle magnum were $35/1000 before the last round of madness began. I noticed a couple of weeks ago they had some more in stock for $50/1000. I have a feeling that will be the "new normal" around here. They went up $10/1000 4 years ago; I suspect $15/1000 will be the price hike this time.

WLR $31.99 here. They still have several thousand on the shelf. No small rifle of any kind....a few large pistol too.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

I've always maintained an inventory of consumables, and reordered before my supply of them fell below a set point. I find myself in good shape at this time. And will not shoot as much as I would like until the supply line allows.

I'm pretty well stocked for primers but did add 1K of CCI-450's and 1K of Federal 210's a couple of weeks ago. The federals were $29 at my main local store, and the CCI's I picked up in another town at a shop that's always been high priced, they were $38. Neither store has raised their prices, those are their normal prices. Virtually every store down here has plenty of pistol primers, there doesn't seem to be a problem with them. My main store still has federal 215's on the shelf, but I think they've sold out of 210's now.

This weekend will be my first try at chasing gunshop's here in Queensland. I am just hoping to hell that they don't run like the cost of booze and vehicles though it appears firearms cost do.

I got lucky and got in an order with Widners for 5000 Wolf SRM primers for $18/1000. So with shipping and Hazmat I paid $25.40 per 1000. Kinda wish I would have picked up 5000 SP Primers also..

local sporting goods store has a small inventory of Federal right now, first time I've seen any in a couple of months. Paying $5/100, and the daily limit is 200 of any kind. Pick up 200 LR primers every time I go through town, while they're available.

Was at a gunshow in Seattle last weekend. Everybody was selling primers for $70/1000 I just laughed being glad I'm stocked up for now.

Three weeks ago, I paid $26.99 for a brick of WLR's at a small gun shop in Joplin MO. Wish I could find them that cheap in OK. Heck wish I could just find them in OK.

Shelves at the local Sportsman's Warehouse are pretty bare right now, haven't been around to check in a week or so, but last time I was there the price tags hadn't changed.
Something like $29.99 for all types of Federal, CCI and Remington bricks and more for Winchester, about $35 IIRC. I think they may have had a fair supply of Remington primers there even though the CCI and Federal standard primers were all out, but I didn't check closely. They did have some bricks of Magnum primers of various brands - large rifle magnum, lareg pistol magnum and such as well as some Federal Match type primers in large pistol, large and small rifle. Prices on these were same as always, about $35 or a bit more per brick.
They have had signs up for a few weeks now limiting customers to ammo and components, I think two or maybe three of any one SKU item.
There were still plenty of shotgun primers to go around.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Just got small rifle at 4 per 100 and magnum at 5 per hundred, but could only get 300 total at a fairly local shop, they got a lot of stuff this week. But they had a fairly good selection of rimfire (limited to three boxes) and picked up some 9mm. Other shops seem to be running their entire inventory through internet auctions. Was able to score a dozen boxes 9mm on a weekend trip by going to two Cabelas, and they had lots of bullets and 4350 powder (could only get two lbs), their stuff at normal prices. Cabelas opened a new store in Saginaw, MI, not like their big stores, no aquarium or taxidermy, call it an Outpost. But it had all the important stuff.
But basically, I am starting to see things on the shelves again, some stores priced realistically, some marking up to panic internet stuff, most have some limit.
