Just got a email from smiling Larry. Midway gave 1,000,000 dollars t o the NRA- ILA ! His way of saying thanks to his 1,000,000 active customers. Thanks Larry

ps, If Potterfield can afford to just donate a million to celebrate, imagine his self-wealth. Larry has done ok.

I think Midway is trying real hard to have fair prices and be a friend to the shooting sports community.
Stopped for awhile, but have been making it a point to purchase things there.

Received the email and also need to give props to Midway for trying to hold pricing to pre-madness levels. No gouging. Lets just hope he can get stock levels up where they were or at least close.

I got the same email, and it put a smile on my face also. Along with his short little Youtube vids that I find interesting, this has really changed my view of Larry. I've had my nose a little bent out of shape since he discontinued free S&H. I never quit ordering, but I started looking elsewhere a lot more than before.
I've got two Montana slings coming this week from Midway, and wanted to put some reloading components with the order..........but who doesn't right now?

...but sometimes their shipping is kind of high. Ya know, I hear that a lot. I think it's still a psychological thing leftover from when they eliminated "free" shipping. I recently needed a new action wrench. I found it at three different places, all the same price, including Midway. One place wanted $13.95 shipping. Another wanted $11.95. "Expensive shipping" Midway? Just $8.95. So much for "high shipping costs".  Guess who got the order?

I ship stuff for my business via UPS, usually customer stuff for repair or warranty work...
Midway's shipping rates are not really out of line at all...
shipping rates are not affordable any more, regardless of carrier...
